This vintage 60’s “GOLDEN GEM” of a “Shaggy Man” mohair cardigan by Drummond is the rarest and SHAGGIEST of them all. It’s in rock-solid condition. No rips, no mothing, no soiling… Super long’n lush fiber… Is in tip-top condition. Plus note this rare gem is all natural fibers: 75% MOHAIR and 25% WOOL… Far more mohair than similar sweaters and zero/zilch man-made fibers. Body and sleeves are perfect… Cuffs and waistband snug… Ready to fit as new. All this with brilliant jet-black “abalone look” shank buttons glistening with touches of gold and blue and white. Men’s Early 1900s Shaggy Pony Hair Long Fur Coat Large XLong Vtg Antique

Early 1900s Pony Hair? We THINK this is pony hair but are not 100% sure as it is not tagged. Overall, this is the cleanest one of these style fur coats I’ve ever seen. There is, however, damage to the brown fur trim. Both pockets and cuffs are missing some of the pile. Top button closure has been replaced and is different. 2 button closure is loose. There is a tear on the top left shoulder and some wear / damage inside the neck lining. The tear is probably due to damage from long term storage on a hanger. The tear on the shoulder is mostly along a seam but the lower portion is not. There is a hole under the back of the collar. Please check photos for a better idea of condition. Fits like size Large Extra Long- the sleeves are quite long. Chest (Measured from armpit to armpit across chest, then doubled)- 23 inches across; 46 inch Chest. Shoulders (Measured across the top of back yoke, where sleeve hem meets shoulder hem)- 21 inches. Sleeves (Measured from top where sleeve meets shoulder to bottom cuff)- 29 inches. Length (Measured from bottom of collar to the bottom hemline)- 51.5 inches.
