LARGE JEWELED GOLD PHOTO LOCKET AND CHAIN. 1920’s, classically designed large gilt Edwardian locket is bezel-set with 2 faux Coral oval/round cabochons with decorative design, unmarked, locket approx. 2 X 1-1/2 in. Vintage Lion Pendant Large Head Diamond Eyes 18k Yellow Gold Animal Jewelry. Six single cut diamonds total an estimated 0.03 carats (estimated at G-H color and VS2-SI1 clarity). Weight: 20.8 grams. The pendant measures 1 1/2 inches in length and is 1 1/4 inches wide. The pendant is hallmarked “18k” and “Italy”. Finely detailed vintage Lion head pendant crafted in 18k yellow gold (circa 1970s to 1980s). The finely detailed Lion head features an open work design with diamond set eyes. The mane is etched with long whiskers and a fierce open mouth design adding to the elaborate and distinct look. The bale measures 4mm and can accommodate a thin to medium thickness chain if desired. The back of the piece is fitted with a pin for wear as a brooch also. Large in scale with a weighty feel (20.8 grams) the piece is ideal worn alone or layered with your fine jewelry from any era. The pendant is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
