A 1938 cubist oil on canvas. Came out of an estate in Santa Barbara, CA, Cubist female bathing, with her hands in her hair, very typical of Picasso, signed only with a P, and the rest has been scratched off for some insane reason. The stretchers may have been replaced at some point in time which makes me think that it was rolled up, due to cracking, and ill fitted corners, and removed from the original stretchers. It is dated on the back 3. Beautiful, if not a bit dirty, could use a good clean, has soot, from being hung over a fireplace. This item is in the category “Art\Paintings”.
