This vintage, hand-beaten metal water pot showcases beautiful iron and rivet detailing, and makes a great decorative statement used indoors or out. The eight examples currently available all display a wonderful patination, after decades of loyal service in Rajasthan’s Thar desert. Water carriers of all sorts from the Thar Desert in Rajasthan look particularly impressive with a fresh or dried flower arrangement on display, or used as a vase. IMAGES 9 – 12. These lotas have been lightly polished, and have obvious age on their side.
