This old Minnow Bucket is truly special. One of the largest buckets we have seen at approx 19 inches wide. Fantastic piece for collectors or someone looking for the perfect decor piece for an outdoorsy room, den or showcase. It is dated 1926 and was owned by a single family since. At almost 100 years old, it is in really good shape, but there is a tiny leak on one seem that could easily be repaired if needed, although it is likely this will be a display piece and not a used item. The leak is in the seam, not a hole or rust through. This bucket is so large, it is possible it could have held smaller fish like trout, bluegill or other as well, but certainly could have held dozens of minnows. Its large size allows this to be a featured piece of decor. You could hang lots of old lures off of it, stack fishing memorabilia on it or just use your imagination. I’m also an area Realtor, so I’m a nerd about such things. The home must have been torn down or other decades back. We do this often.
