Ceiling Light Vintage Large Christopher Wray Antique Style Italian Glass Pendant

This is a Large Single Drop Vintage Christopher Wray Antique style Ceiling Light with an Italian Glass lampshade. The light has a classic Antique form with an elegant design. The light has a large frilled bell glass lampshade with a multi coloured alternating pattern in varying green and blue shades. The light comes with a replacement screw fit euro sized bulb holder (60W) and a good length of modern replacement earthed wiring. The light has also been fitted with two new cord grips and cable protection. The original brass pressed ceiling rose carries the CW Christopher Wray stamp. The patterns in the glass lampshade really come to life when lit and in use. Please see my images for the best description. Age is 1990’s Max. Hanging drop is 135 Cm x 23 Cm Shade diameter x 28 Cm Pendant Height to the top of the cord grip. The hanging drop can reduced by adjusting the ceiling rose cord grip. Wiring is new, good and earthed. Screw fit bulb holder and cord grips are also new. The light works perfectly – please see my images. Minor marks from use with just small marks here and there. Minor tarnish marks to the Brass rose. Small manufacturing marks in the glass. Small marks around the bulb holder opening from manufacture which do not shown in use. Vintage Swag Hanging Pendant Light Regency Chandelier Fixture Newly Rewired

This is a large vintage, possibly antique swag type chandelier. So, when I got it back, my husband the Master Electrician (he really is a professional Master Electrician) rewired it. It now has been professionally rewired and tested. All the wiring is new and works. The body of the piece has a normal amount of wear from age and use. I added a few close ups of some areas missing the gilt coating, chips and flecks. These defects are part of the charm in my opinion giving it a real old world antique look. These variations will be hard to notice individually once installed, but everything could be touch up painted also- it depends on personal taste levels. The globes are the real treat of this piece. They are a very elaborate raised pattern and they measure about 6 diameter. They really sparkle when it is all put together! I noted no chips or cracks in the globes, although they may have minor flea bites at the bases where the hook into the chain canopies. This is a large piece with an extra long chain for hanging at any length you might choose. Would be amazing in a vaulted ceiling situation, but could also be lower hung in a corner for a more intimate look. The main metal body and chain extenders measure about 25 give or take as I see in the photo that we didn’t get every chain pulled out perfectly straight. That is a rough measure of the metal part only, not counting the globes. With the globes on it, it was in the 34 range. The chain which mounts to the ceiling is extra long at about 11 feet. So there is lots to work with for moving pieces around and making height adjustments according to your needs. Really beautiful piece which could look amazing in many different kinds of décor.
