Need help identifying this image. It’s marked in pencil on its mounting card Coke ovens from upper rim R. ? I’m seeing similar layouts from a West Virginia location but the buildings do not line up. It’s a large photo with the card itself measuring 12″ x 14.75″. The foreground is fairly clear with the background becoming more faded, possibly from the smoke billowing. It’s in fair condition with the card showing a good amount of edge wear, chips and small tears. The photo itself appears to be somewhat faded with some impressions or dents. Please see my photos for these details. Hopefully once identified I can find the proper home for it. It appears to be a one of a kind historic image that should be properly preserved.
