Incredible workmanship in this brooch/pin which consists of a peacock with a pinback, astride a flower which is flanked by birds. On each side of the peacock are florets with an inset faux precious red stone. Under the flower on which the peacock is perched, is another floret with an inset faux precious blue stone. The incredibly awesome part of this piece are the three wonderfully articulated fish hanging from three metal chains which have multiple parts and show intricate workmanship. Two of the fish have red bead eyes which appear to be absent from the third. A beautiful vintage piece of handmade Indian Jewelry. A large, vintage Indian iron water pot, or lota, from Rajasthan’s Thar desert. Hand-beaten metal surface with riveted joints. BACK IN STOCK, SIX AVAILABLE. This vintage, hand-beaten metal water pot showcases beautiful iron and rivet detailing, and makes a great decorative statement used indoors or out. The eight examples currently available all display a wonderful patination, after decades of loyal service in Rajasthan’s Thar desert. Water carriers of all sorts from the Thar Desert in Rajasthan look particularly impressive with a fresh or dried flower arrangement on display, or used as a vase. IMAGES 9 – 12. These lotas have been lightly polished, and have obvious age on their side. Once a common sight in Rajasthan’s Thar Desert, IMAGE 4 these have largely been superseded, ironically, by contemporary water pots in plastic, and the like. Vintage Retro Atomic 60s Mid Century Modern 3 Cone Bullet Pole Floor Lamp. Fabulous mod green 3 cone shade floor lamp from the 1960’s. Each cone shade has an on/off switch on them. Measures 60 tall and 14 across with shades tight against pole, 10 base diameter, 10 lbs. Overall in very good vintage condition. Stands nice and sits flat. Has age appropriate wear to the paint and some oxidation on the gold tone finish on base. And inside light cones (see last pics). All the sockets are working. Thinking a Mr Clean magic eraser to the inside of lights and there is a few splotches of white paint on it looks like someone painted the room that it sat in.
