Wonderful old vintage LARGE heavy-gauge hammered copper half sphere or dome mixing bowl or perhaps a jelly mold / mould. No markings that I could find. Possibly French based on my research, and seems to be solid copper. Riveted copper hang plaque with a brass loop for hanging. Has been used & could use a good polish but I leave that to the new owner if desired. Nice fat rolled edge. No dents but quite a few surface scuffs & some shallow scratches on the outside mostly. Some dark spotting which again might polish out quite nicely if desired. 12″ in diameter and 6″ tall. True vintage item from an old Connecticut estate.
